Alors que, le 9 novembre 2015, le tribunal de première instance de Bruxelles a ordonné à l’entreprise d’arrêter de tracer les internautes belges non inscrits sur le réseau social, la firme californienne a décidé de faire appel : Facebook demande purement et simplement l’annulation de cette condamnation… sous prétexte que des termes anglophones ont été utilisés dans le jugement.

Les recherches, quel que soit le groupe, donnaient toujours les mêmes trente références qui pointaient vers des pages Web réelles de cette élection passée, seul l’ordre d’apparition de ces trente références variait.Les résultats ont été sans appel : la préférence des groupes allait dans le sens du rang du classement qui favorisait le candidat A ou le candidat B. Sympathie, confiance et intention de vote allaient dans le même sens.
